BELA Bill - how does this impact homeschooling?

The BELA Bill is an amendment to the current act and the majority of its attention is focused on changes in schools. The law does not want to stop all "homeschooling" activities. 

For homeschoolers, there is an intensified focus on the curriculum used by parents (which favours the use of a CAPS curriculum - the same curriculum used by Impaq), but essentially, homeschooling remains a legal alternative to private or government schools and therefore, you do not need to be concerned.
