Should I register my Impaq Online School learner with the DBE?
Learners enrolled at the Impaq Online School for Grades 4 to 9 cannot presently be registered with their Provincial Department of Education. A draft policy for online schools is being reviewed by the Department of Basic Education (DBE). Should the registration instructions change, Impaq will make all parents aware of this.
Grades 10 to 12 learners are registered with the assessment body, SACAI, for distance education and upon successful completion of Grade 12 receives the National Senior Certificate.
