What is the difference between a competent and Impaq-approved assessor?
An assessor is a qualified teacher* with a valid SACE number with the relevant experience to assess Grade 10 to 12 PATs and orals. The only difference between a competent and an Impaq-approved assessor is that the latter needs to be pre-approved by Impaq.
*Learners registered for practical subjects at the Impaq Online School do not need to appoint assessors, as their teachers will assess PATs and orals.
