What should I do if my Impaq Online School learner has missed a test or exam?
- You will receive an email with the Declaration of Valid Reason form, which must be completed to report your learner’s absence.
- Complete the declaration and attach all relevant evidence supporting the learner’s absence (such as medical certificates, death certificates, or other official documentation).
- Submit the completed declaration and attached evidence to aqc.support@impaq.co.za (Grades 10 to 12) or to onlineschool@impaq.co.za (Grades 4 to 9) within 24 hours of the scheduled test session.
- Each declaration and its accompanying evidence will be carefully evaluated based on merit to ensure fairness.
- Once the evaluation is complete, the outcome will be communicated directly to you.
- Valid reasons for missing a test include illness, attending a funeral or memorial service, etc. Unfortunately, load shedding, going on holiday, or joining a session after the test has started are not valid reasons for missing a test.
By following the process above, we can better support you in your learning journey and uphold academic integrity at the Impaq Online School.
