Where is the final NSC exam written?

SACAI registers examination venues across the country, subject to approval from Umalusi. The establishment of exam centres are typically based on the concentration of candidates per area, but candidates are also allocated to venues based on:
  1. Subject choices
  2. Approved accommodations/concessions
  3. Venue capacity
  4. The candidate's residential address
Please ensure that your full names, ID number, date of birth and residential address is correct and updated on my.Impaq. The GPS coordinates for the candidate’s residential address should correspond with the address provided on the system. Candidates residing abroad will be required to write the NSC examination in South Africa. A physical address within South Africa must be provided for the candidate in order to allow for centre allocation. Impaq cannot be held liable for any incorrect allocation(s) or costs incurred for travelling and accommodation with regards to examination centres.
