Which assessments should my child complete in Grades 4 to 9?

Tests and examinations should be completed from Grades 4 to 12, as they form an integral part of any learner’s annual assessment. Therefore, tests and examinations should be conducted in a manner that ensures the credibility of the learner’s assessment results during and at the end of their education.

Grade 4 to 9 learners can write tests and examinations according to the suggested timetables made available on the Optimi Learning Portal (OLP) throughout the course of the year. Suggested dates for tests and examinations are also available on the Assessment screen on OLP, along with the suggested time periods in which the tests and examinations can be completed.
